What arcadegnt is
arcadegnt lets you build and publish web games using AI assistants like Claude or ChatGPT. It's operated by vbgnt (vbgnt.com). The games are Godot projects created through instructions from your assistant, which we build and host for you.
What we collect
We keep the minimum amount of information needed to run the service:
- Your email address, which serves as your account name.
- Short-lived, single-use sign-in codes and session tokens.
- Records of which assistants you connected to your account.
- Game source files that you or your assistant create, including scripts, scenes, images, and audio files.
- Build logs and build output files.
- Screenshots captured when an assistant tests a game. We delete these after 7 days.
- The compiled game files used to run your published game on the web.
What we don't collect
We don't look at or store your private chat conversations with your assistant. We only receive the specific tool calls your assistant makes to our platform, such as file contents, project names, and build commands.
Apart from high scores (below), we don't run servers or databases to store data for people playing your games. Their save files stay in their own web browser's local storage.
We don't run ads, track your behavior across other websites, or sell your personal details to anyone.
How we use it
We use your data to:
- Email you 6-digit login codes so you can access your account.
- Let connected assistants create, edit, build, publish, and delete games on your behalf.
- Compile your project source files into working web games.
- Host your published games at their web addresses.
Who else processes it
We rely on two services from Amazon Web Services (AWS) to operate:
- AWS hosting in the US (us-east-1 region) stores your files, runs game builds, and hosts your published games.
- Amazon Simple Email Service (SES) sends your 6-digit sign-in codes to your inbox.
Published games are public
When you publish a game, it becomes accessible at your dedicated link (<name>.arcadegnt.com). Anyone with that web address can open, view, and play the game.
High scores and play counts
Some games have online high score tables. When a player's score makes a table, the name they typed and their score are shown publicly on that game's table and on its gallery page. The game keeps a random player id on the device, and we store only a hash of it that is never sent back out. Offensive names are replaced with "Player." Game owners can delete entries.
For play counts, published games report that they were played and for how long. We count visits using a daily-changing hash of the visitor's network address and browser. We keep no player identity, only totals per game.
Cookies
We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. We use a single cookie to remember your signed-in session on arcadegnt.com. This session lasts for 30 days.
Keeping and deleting your data
Your games and source files stay in your account until you delete them.
You can disconnect an assistant at any time from your account page at arcadegnt.com/account. It will lose access on its very next request.
You can delete an individual game at any time by asking your assistant to run the delete game command. This deletes the project files and removes the public site.
If you want to delete your entire account and all projects associated with it, send an email to hello@arcadegnt.com directly from the email address tied to your account.
Changes
arcadegnt is an early-access service and may change over time. If we update this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
